Wilson Revolve 17G Tennis String - White

The Wilson Revolve 17G (1.25 mm) White is a spin-friendly, control-oriented co-polyester monofilament tennis string. Built with a smooth, round geometric profile and infused with an UHMW (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight) polymer additive, Revolve maximizes string movement and low-friction snapback. The thinner 17-gauge (1.25 mm) profile offers enhanced ball pocketing, increased feel, and higher spin acceleration compared to the thicker 16G version, while maintaining a clean, classic white aesthetic. Performance Profile High-RPM UHMW Snapback: The smooth round surface and UHMW coating allow the main strings to slide effortlessly across the cross strings and snap back rapidly, imparting heavy rotation without requiring geometric edges. Enhanced Touch & Ball Pocketing: The thinner 1.25 mm diameter flexes more upon ball impact than 16G variants, offering improved string bed feel, deeper ball pocketing, and crisp feedback. Low-Power Precision: Delivers a predictable, dead response that allows big hitters to swing at maximum speed while keeping shot trajectories controlled inside the baseline. Resistant to Friction Wear: The crosslinked polymer build resists notch wear effectively for a 17-gauge polyester, maintaining smooth string movement across its playable lifespan. Best Suited For Intermediate & Advanced Topspin Hitters: Ideal for players with fast swing speeds looking for controllable power, heavy topspin, and a slightly softer impact feel than a 16G poly. Control-Minded Competitors: Perfect for players who take aggressive cuts at the ball and require dependable trajectory control. Hybrid Main String Setup: Performs exceptionally well in the main strings when paired with a softer synthetic gut or multifilament cross string to maximize overall hybrid snapback.
