More Info.  Key Ingredients and their benefits. White Willow Bark (Salix alba) White Willow has been used to provide effective relief for millennia. The ancient Greek and Roman physicians utilized White Willow bark to relieve minor pain, as did Native Americans. The therapeutic actions of White Willow bark are attributed to its high concentration of naturally occurring polyphenols, salicylates, flavonoids, and other compounds that help to modulate healthy inflammatory response and relieve minor pain. Corydalis Rhizome (Corydalis yanhusuo) Corydalis is the premier herb used to relieve minor pain in Traditional Chinese Medicine, most often in combination with other synergistic herbs. Corydalis is traditionally valued to promote healthy blood circulation, which helps bring fresh blood to areas that need it.This, in turn, helps relieve minor pain and supports the body’s natural healing processes. Wild Turmeric Rhizome (Curcuma aromatica) Wild Turmeric, also known as Yellow Zedoary, grows wild in India. This form of Turmeric is widely used, second only to Curcuma longa – common Turmeric. Curcuminoids, the active constituents in Turmeric, are yellowish-orange, lipid-soluble, natural phenolic compounds. Highly researched, they demonstrate many health benefits including promoting healthy inflammatory response, relieving minor pain, and providing antioxidant activity. Boswellin® Super Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine practitioners have long valued Frankincense resin for its ability to promote healthy inflammatory response. Frankincense contains gum-like resinous constituents known as boswellic acids that are responsible for its healthpromoting activity. Boswellin® Super is a concentrated extract standardized to 50% B-boswellic acid and 30% AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid), providing efficacious levels of these therapeutic constituents. Perluxan® Hops (Humulus lupulus) Hops is a vigorous climbing plant whose flowers were first used for their ability to preserve and add flavor to beer in the middle ages in Europe. Research demonstrates that iso-alpha acids from hops flowers effectively encourage healthy inflammatory response. Perluxan® is a potent hops resin extract standardized to the alpha acids using state-of-the-art supercritical carbon dioxide extraction technology.
