Willow Barrette Weaving Workshop on November 8th

Learn to weave a functional, beautiful barrette made entirely out of local willow and wood. Each participant will learn the technique to make a hair barrette from willow, and will leave the class with (at least) two barrettes.  Date: Sunday, November 8th Time: 12-4pm Location: Kaaterskill Market 355 Main Street, Catskill IMPORTANT PLEASE READ Please note that tickets to this event are non-refundable. Discounts and gift cards are not eligible for this workshop** Renee is a Catskills-based chef and designer who specializes in working with wild plants and fungi. She rediscovered her childhood love for basketry when she was unhappy with the sourdough bread baskets she could buy, and decided to make them herself instead.
