Wildlife Remembered: Animal Observation Logbook & Journal

A wildlife observation journal with space for 350+ sightings and a format that captures what you saw, when, where, and what it was doing. Wildlife Remembered gives you a consistent way to log animal encounters. Each entry records the species, date and time, location, weather, season, distance, who spotted it, and what the animal was doing. The same fields every time, so you can flip back months later and actually compare sightings. What You'll Track in This Wildlife Log Every Entry Captures: Animal species Date and time Who spotted it Location Weather and season Distance (checkbox ranges: under 10 feet, under 50, under 200, or farther) Description of behavior and activity The distance checkboxes matter. A deer at 10 feet is a different encounter than a deer at 200 feet. Quick to mark, useful context when you look back. Two Entry Formats - Compact pages with 3-4 entries for routine sightings. Quick to fill out when you spot the usual visitors. Expanded pages with room for detailed notes when something special shows up and you want to capture more. Why Keep an Animal Observation Log? After a year of sightings, you start to see patterns. When do the deer pass through? What time of day are the turkeys active? Do bear sightings cluster around certain weather? A wildlife logbook turns random encounters into data you can actually learn from. The "Spotted By" field makes this work for families or shared properties. Track who sees what. Kids love competing for sightings. 350+ entry capacity means this journal lasts for years, not weeks. Build a long-term record of wildlife on your property, at your cabin, or across hiking trips.
