MORA 164 - WOOD CARVING HOOK BLADE Each of the Wildcard Wilderness Bushcraft Kits will come with a Mora 164 Hook Knife for carving. WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY PUT A RIGHT-HANDED HOOK BLADE IN YOUR ORDER UNLESS YOU CONTACT US VIA EMAIL (survivalgearbso@gmail.com) TO INFORM US THAT YOU NEED A LEFT-HANDED HOOK BLADE. The most important thing when it comes to woodcarving is a sharp knife. Instead of being a wonderful, creative experience, it can become both irritating and dangerous if the knife is blunt. This knife has a single-edged stainless steel blade for right/left hand use. The back of the knife is not sharp which gives you the possibility to use your left/right hand to push the blade with your fingers from the back. This blade has a narrow curve. The blade has been optimized the blade to make it run smooth over the inside of the spoon or bowl. Improved edge bevels complete the blade and give you the optimum carving experience. To protect both you and the knife it comes with a simple but ingeniously designed edge protection made out of Swedish vegetable tanned leather manufactured locally with cowhides from the region.   Should you need help with any other equipment in addition to this Bushcraft Kit, then please don't hesitate to contact us for advice.
