The Wild Giant

A Tribute to the Deep Woods Original art for the forest, the field, and the journey home. Born from the studio and inspired by the quiet presence of the forest's most iconic resident, this moose and pine illustration captures the technical precision of the wild through an intentional, artistic lens. Every detail—from the front-panel landscape to the "Wild Giant" hand-drawn script on the back—is a tribute to the deep woods. Designed on premium natural fibers, this piece provides a field-tested, heritage-grade feel for those who roam the untamed spaces. "I’ll never forget standing in front of a moose for the first time. Granted, it was in a museum in D.C., but the scale was astonishing—it made me feel incredibly small," says Jordan. "When I sat down in Adobe Fresco to doodle this embroidery icon, I wanted to pay tribute to that weight and presence. I designed the front with a focused, simple line art to ensure the technical precision of the sketch remained crisp when translated to thread, and I hand-lettered the 'Wild Giant' script on the back to ensure the mark of the maker was on every angle of the cap". The Persona: For the Wild Giants This hat is designed for the men, the dads, and the outdoorsmen who are wild giants in their own right—those who value the "Buy Less, Buy Better" philosophy and carry a quiet, imposing strength into every field and forest they traverse. Behind the Art: Meet Jordan Kempain Every Kempain Original begins as an original hand-drawn illustration. Jordan has been designing and illustrating professionally since 2009, bringing nearly two decades of industry experience to every piece in the collection. His career began in marketing agencies across Connecticut, New York City, and Washington, D.C., but his real inspiration has always been found beyond the digital canvas. A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Art School and an active outdoorsman, Jordan draws directly from his time spent in the woods of Putnam, Connecticut, to inform every stroke of his pen.
