This offering from Wilcox is to save weight by 12% while not sacrificing durability or performance. It has the same travel distance while having a slimmer profile on the sides, allowing panning systems to stow closer to the head when not in use. Utilizing the lighter weight carriage of the G69 mount and doing away with the magnets in the G24, if your mount needs those to function, aim for a G24.
