Simply plug it in, and it will record whenever motion is seen. The camera can be accessed remotely over the internet when it is connected to WIFI, and it can alert you when activity is present. It will also work without WIFI available. Simply plug it in, let it record, and review from your smartphone using the p2p close range connection.      HOW DOES THE 10-PORT USB HB WI-FI CAMERA WORK? There are several ways to utilize this camera, with or without internet. No computer is required, and all recorded footage can be saved to your smartphone. To begin, download the free camera application, allcam365, available for iPhones and Android smartphones from the App Store. Once downloaded, plug in the WIFI USB Hub Motion Activated Camera so it can transmit a short-range wireless signal. This wireless signal allows for a point-to-point connection without internet, so that the camera can be set up and footage can be downloaded. Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi and open the application to add a new device. Once added, the setup menu will be accessible for your desired adjustments; Motion activation or continuous recording, clip length, time/date setup, and notification alerts. A live feed and recordings are also available when connecting to the AP wifi of the camera. All footage is downloadable in MP4 format for easy playback and storage on any device.  To connect the camera to the internet, tap WIFI Configuration and pair the camera to the local wifi network. The camera's Wi-Fi will require a 2.4GHz connection, so make sure that this signal type is enabled beforehand. Once ready, select the location's WIFI, enter the password, and the camera will pair itself to the internet network. This step is the same for WIFI standalone hotspots. If you own a WIFI hotspot and wish to access all the camera's features remotely, connect to it as a 2.4GHz network. Once the camera is online, it can be accessed from anywhere from your smartphone, with the ability to log in live in 4K resolution.
