Wicky Woo Dahlia

Wicky Woo produces striking 6-inch formal decorative blooms with deep purple petals elegantly tipped in white, creating a sophisticated bicolor effect. This vigorous variety reaches 4 feet tall, making it ideal for garden displays and cut flower arrangements. The substantial flower size and refined petal structure deliver the classic dahlia form that collectors and florists prize. Perfect for adding dramatic contrast and architectural interest to any dahlia garden. How To Plant Dahlias To get your dahlias started, pick a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Dig a hole, lay the tuber flat, and cover it with soil about 3 inches deep. Hold off on watering for now. Once you spot some sprouts and a few leaves, it’s time to water, but keep it gentle to prevent root rot. It’s a smart  to put the stake next to the tuber at the same time of planting, so you don’t accidentally damage it later on. As the season goes on, give your dahlias some love with fertilizer and insect sprays to help them bloom beautifully and grow strong. In the fall, dig up the roots and store them over winter.
