Whitewater Minimalist Packable Rain Jacket

The Minimalist Packable Rain Jacket is built for the moments when the sky turns dark, but the bite refuses to slow down. When storms roll in without warning and heading in early isn’t an option, this is the jacket you’re glad you stuffed into the boat. Designed to stay out of the way until you need it, the Minimalist is constructed from a lightweight, breathable 100% polyester stretch fabric with a durable water-repellent finish. The 4-way stretch allows you to cast freely, work baits aggressively, and adjust gear without restriction, so protection never comes at the expense of performance. When rain hits, the jacket deploys fast and seals out the elements. Double-taped seams, a protective storm flap, and adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs prevent water from working its way down your sleeves or into your core. A three-piece adjustable hood and shock-cord adjustable waist hem let you cinch everything down when conditions deteriorate, keeping you dry and focused on the next cast. Storage stays simple and functional. Oversized zippered hand pockets keep valuables protected and dry, while the streamlined design eliminates unnecessary bulk. When the storm passes, the jacket packs down into its included pouch, taking up minimal space in a boat compartment, tackle bag, backpack, or anywhere else you stash your just-in-case gear. The Minimalist Packable Rain Jacket is an essential part of the Whitewater system, designed not to replace your primary outerwear, but to ensure you’re never caught unprepared when the weather changes faster than the forecast.
