White Phalaenopsis Orchid Garden Arrangement in Stone Bowl (AF0 360-1)

The simplicity of this gorgeous arrangement is part of what makes it so strikingly beautiful.  Three white phalaenopsis orchids nestled in lime green reindeer moss and white reindeer moss are accented with smooth, white Japanese mitsumata branches that add grace and depth to this piece. The arrangement is set in a round, clear glass bowl that seems to float atop a light, and very minimal, gold painted metal stand.  The end result is an arrangement suitable for any occasion that calls for a sophisticated, elegant, and one of a kind gift that will leave a lasting impression on all its admirers. The phalaenopsis orchid gets its name from the ancient Greek word phalaina (φαλαινα) which means "a kind of moth" and -opsis which means "having the appearance of" or "like".  For this reason, it is often commonly known as the 'moth orchid'. As this type of orchid is native to tropical regions, it thrives in warm environments, but it is also very hardy and adaptable to moderate temperatures, so it is especially well suited for decorative arrangements in the home, office or business.  With a little extra care, this orchid is easy to maintain and can rebloom year after year.  In fact, the lingering beauty and low maintenance of the phalaenopsis orchid is one of the reasons why it is such an attractive and highly sought after plant.  Plus, with fragrant and showy flowers that typically bloom in full glory for up to two to three months at a time, the phalaenopsis orchid is without a doubt, a floral gift that keeps on giving. Throughout history and across cultures, orchids are considered to be one of the most highly coveted and ornamental of all flowers and have long been prized for their ceremonial significance.  These rare flowers have a singular, delicate, and sensual visual appeal and are they commonly associated with love, luxury, exquisite beauty and refined taste. No matter what the occasion is, whether a birthday, an anniversary, as a congratulatory gift or simply as a special token of love, this exquisite arrangement is the perfect way to warm the heart and delight the soul of anyone who receives it.
