White Oak Bark Extract (Quercus petraea) The White Oak is a tree whose bark is most commonly used for its astringent, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties. It contains an abundance of tannins, as well as iron, potassium, and vitamin B12. It may be used a diuretic to increase urine production and help expel toxins from the body, or as a tonic to treat diarrhea, nosebleeds, heavy menstrual flow and vomiting. 25 drops in water or juice, three times per day, six days per week Shake well before using.
