Alba Bleeding Heart

Alba Bleeding Heart (Dicentra spectabilis 'Alba')Alba Bleeding Heart (Dicentra spectabilis 'Alba') is a classic woodland perennial treasured for elegant, pure white, heart shaped flowers that dangle along arching stems in mid to late spring. Soft, finely cut, blue green foliage creates a graceful mound that lights up shaded borders, woodland edges, and courtyard plantings. Compact yet showy, this heirloom selection offers refined spring drama and then rests quietly through summer, making space for later season companions. Distinctive FeaturesChains of snow white hearts with tiny teardrop tips bloom above ferny foliage for several weeks in cool spring weather; stems arch in a fountain form that reads beautifully in dappled shade.
