White Appaloosa Horse

Zuni carver, Todd Etsate, carved this Appaloosa horse from white marble and inlaid turquoise eyes and spots.  It is a real beauty!  While Appaloosa horses were found in many places around the world, the Nez Perce appaloosa was distinctly bred by the Nez Perce people.  We hope you enjoy this tiny version of a beautiful horse.  Size: Small: 1.25" H x 1.75" L x .375" W Medium: 1.75 x 1.8 "L x .375" W Large: 2" H x 2.25" L x .375" W Many Native American people believe that horses were in North America before the colonizers arrived.  Many Native American people have special relationships with horses, and this was evident during the camps at Standing Rock to protect and defend the river.  They represent freedom and safety in travel.  And for those of us lucky enough to have had a powerful relationship with horses, they make wonderful friends. Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
