Whispurr™ Blue Catmint

Effortless beauty meets tough-as-nails performance with Whispurr™ Blue Catmint. This refined, compact perennial is everything a gardener could want in a landscape workhorse — smothered in a haze of soft violet-blue flower spikes from late spring through summer, with the bonus of a robust rebloom flush in late summer when cut back after the first flowering. The silvery-green, aromatic foliage is attractive even when the plant isn't in bloom, lending a soft, billowy texture to borders and edges throughout the entire growing season. Whispurr™ Blue is bred for a tidier, more controlled habit than older catmint varieties, making it ideal for the front of borders, garden edges, walkways, and mass plantings where a neat, low-maintenance display is desired. Incredibly adaptable and virtually pest and disease free, it thrives in conditions that challenge other perennials — poor soils, heat, drought, and neglect — and keeps coming back year after year without complaint.   Highlights: Abundant violet-blue flower spikes from late spring through summer Reblooms reliably in late summer when cut back after first flush Compact, tidy habit — improved over older catmint varieties Fragrant silvery-green foliage with ornamental appeal all season Exceptional drought and heat tolerance once established Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds in abundance Deer and rabbit resistant Low maintenance and virtually pest and disease free Excellent for borders, edging, mass plantings, and cottage gardens
