Whispering Current

Kamas, Utah – May 2024 Spring still lingered in the air that morning in Kamas, where the Bear River flowed with the determined strength that follows the final snowmelt. The cold breeze brushed against my face as the river’s powerful sound filled the landscape—steady, rhythmic, almost ancient. While my husband fished, I wandered along the riverbank, letting the natural music wrap around me. Whispering Current was born from that quiet joy of simply being present—watching the water carry its stories downstream, the pines standing witness, and the sky shifting as spring slowly took hold. This image reminds me that nature doesn’t need to shout; its whispers are often the most profound. Product Qualities: A long-exposure view of the Bear River captures the energetic movement of spring runoff, softened into a silky flow that contrasts beautifully with the stillness of surrounding pines. Neutral earth tones and deep greens create a grounded, calming palette, while soft cloud textures add depth to the sky. This limited-edition print invites a sense of renewal and quiet strength—ideal for spaces seeking natural harmony and a touch of wilderness energy.  Whispering Current is part of the Utah’s Lakes & Reservoirs Limited Edition Collection.
