Whims and Woes

Whims and Woes is a tender collection of poems and drawings from Lin Sisters Press that makes room for the feelings we don’t always know how to name. With a gentle, melancholic spirit, it speaks to the wistful moments of childhood and the quiet heartaches adults carry, too. Delicate line drawings of clouds and a small figure suspended among them set a dreamy, slightly bittersweet tone. The words and images invite you to slow down, turn the pages at your own pace, and find comfort in knowing that sadness, longing, and wonder are part of being human, at every age. A thoughtful book to keep close, revisit, and share. Keep Whims and Woes beside a favorite reading chair for a quiet moment away from screens, or tuck it among the books you return to time and again. With poetry, there’s no need to read from cover to cover. Open to a page, linger over a few lines, and let the words find you where you are. A thoughtful gift for lovers of poetry, illustration, and the beauty of a well-made book. Add a personal note to make it your own, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or sharing something lovely with a fellow reader.
