Features: Durable Cast Iron Design: This wood chip smoking box is made from long-lasting cast iron -- it's a great investment that's more capable of withstanding heat and scorching versus stainless steel models. Flavor Enhancer: Large holes in the lid allow for wood chips to consistently release fragrant smoke, adding real smoke flavor into your favorite grilled foods. Added Cast Iron Flavor: The flavor of your smoke box will accrue over time with each use, making a cast iron smoke box superior to stainless steel. Sleek Design: Measuring it at 5.25" X 8.25" x 1.25", it won’t take up too much space on your grilling surface but has the capacity to provide a long-lasting burn time. Specifications: Dimensions: 5.25 x 8.25 x 1.25 inches Weight: 1.2 lb Material: Cast Iron How to Use: Place wood chips inside the smoker box. Use a butane torch to light one side of the wood chips until they begin to smolder (alternatively, you can place a fire starter on one side of the box, although this may create too long of a flame, you'll have to experiment). Using heat-resistant grilling gloves, close the lid and place over direct heat to keep the embers burning (if using a charcoal grill, you can place directly on the coals; for gas grills, place directly over the flame of the hottest burner). Place on your grill to infuse added smoke flavor. Chips will last approximately an hour, after that, add additional chips to extend smoking time! 2) Apple Wood Smoking Chips by Camerons - 2lb ($13.99 value) About: These Apple BBQ wood smoking chips ignite quickly and combust completely to create a delicate smokey flavor!
