Wheels Manufacturing BSA Threaded Bottom Bracket – SRAM GXP, 68mm (Grey)

The Wheels Manufacturing BSA Threaded Bottom Bracket is a precision-engineered upgrade for road frames using English-threaded (BSA) 68mm shells and SRAM GXP cranksets. Designed with durability and serviceability in mind, this bottom bracket delivers smoother operation, improved bearing life, and quieter performance compared to many OEM options. At its core are angular contact bearings, which are engineered to better manage side loads created by modern cranksets—resulting in improved longevity and consistent performance. Enduro silicone dust seals provide an additional layer of protection against water, grit, and road grime, making this an excellent choice for high-mileage road and all-road bikes. Wheels MFG includes a comprehensive spacer kit to ensure precise setup across a range of crank and frame tolerances, allowing for accurate preload and optimal bearing alignment. Why we recommend it at Go Grava: Because a properly machined threaded bottom bracket with high-quality bearings solves creaks, extends service intervals, and just works.
