During this one-day private class, you will receive a one-on-one introduction to the therapeutic and meditative process of wheel-throwing. Regardless of whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this pottery wheel throwing class is tailored to your individual needs, offering personalized attention and allowing you to work at your own pace. During this pottery workshop, you will learn how to manipulate the clay, shape it into various forms, and bring your creative visions to life. The class will include techniques such as wedging, centering, hand throwing on the pottery wheel, and trimming. In this comfortable and inspiring setting, snacks and delicious Argentine wine will be served, while a carefully curated playlist sets the groove for your ceramics session. This wheel pottery class can be repeated many times but gives you the freedom to register one class at a time. We will show and assist you with the basic techniques of the potter’s wheel, and for those with prior experience, we'll help you progress to more advanced projects as you perfect your skills. Throughout the class, we'll be there to guide you step by step, ensuring you feel confident and supported along the way. Perfect for travelers seeking fun things to do in Buenos Aires, the class will last for 2,5 hours and can be conducted in both English and Spanish. Materials, tools, light snacks and beverages will be provided. After the ceramic class, works made during the workshop will be glazed, fired and finished in our studio by us. Students will be able to pick up finished pieces on an arranged pick-up date. This may take up to 3/4 weeks. In case you'd be gone by then we can ship the pieces via FedEx to your hometown (please note shipping cost is not included in price).
