GE Tub, Hub Nut & Agitator Washers (WH49X27329)

The GE Tub, Hub Nut and Agitator Washers is a multi-piece kit that secures the wash tub and agitator assembly in place during the wash and spin cycles of a GE laundry center. The hub nut locks the agitator onto the drive shaft, while the washers provide proper spacing and sealing between moving components to keep everything aligned and watertight during operation. The GE Tub, Hub Nut and Agitator Washers can wear out over time from repeated wash cycles, exposure to water and detergent, or from the stress of heavy or unbalanced loads. A loose or stripped hub nut, cracked washers, or a damaged tub fitting can allow the agitator to wobble, shift, or detach entirely during use. These symptoms may indicate it is time to replace this kit in your laundry center: - Agitator feels loose, wobbles, or lifts off the drive shaft during washing - Loud clunking or rattling noise coming from the tub area during agitation - Water leaking from the tub fitting or around the center shaft - Agitator spins freely without engaging or moves unevenly - Visible cracks, wear, or deformation on the washers or hub nut - Tub shifts or vibrates excessively during the spin cycle
