GE Basket Hub Nut Washers (WH49X27326)

The GE Basket Hub Nut Washers are small but essential components that secure the wash basket to the drive shaft in your washer/dryer combo unit. These washers sit beneath the hub nut and distribute clamping force evenly, helping to keep the basket firmly in place during wash and spin cycles. A proper seal at this connection point is critical for stable basket rotation and preventing unwanted movement. GE Basket Hub Nut Washers can wear out over time due to repeated stress from high-speed spin cycles, exposure to water and detergent, or corrosion that breaks down the washer material. Once they degrade or deform, the hub nut may lose its holding strength, allowing the basket to shift or wobble during operation. Look for these symptoms to determine if the basket hub nut washers in your washer/dryer combo need replacing: - Wash basket feels loose or wobbles when moved by hand - Loud banging or clanking during the spin cycle - Excessive vibration that seems to come from the center of the drum - Basket shifts off-center during operation - Visible corrosion, deformation, or damage around the hub nut area - Unit walks or moves across the floor more than usual during spin
