GE Washer Multi-Motion Agitator (WH43X10034)

The GE Washer Multi-Motion Agitator fits into the center of the wash tub and moves clothes through the water during the wash cycle, creating the scrubbing action needed to remove dirt and stains. It connects to the drive system below the tub and uses a multi-motion design to move laundry in multiple directions for a more thorough clean. The GE Washer Multi-Motion Agitator can wear out over time due to repeated stress on the agitator dogs, cams, or coupling components that allow it to flex and move in different directions. Cracked or broken internal parts, a loose fit on the drive shaft, or worn teeth can cause the agitator to stop moving properly or move only in one direction instead of its full range of motion. Look for these symptoms to help determine if the agitator needs to be replaced: - Agitator spins freely in both directions without resistance - Clothes come out of the washer still visibly dirty after a full cycle - Agitator moves in only one direction instead of its designed multi-motion pattern - Loud clunking or clicking noise coming from the center of the tub during washing - Agitator wobbles, feels loose, or shifts side to side during operation - Agitator does not move at all even though the motor and drive system are running - Visible cracks, breaks, or missing fins on the agitator body
