Weston Ribbed Jumper

Taking inspiration from a fisherman jumper, this is a classic round crewneck ribbed jumper. It has a fisherman ribbed knit all over and raglan sleeves. Knitted from a warm wool spun in Donegal, Ireland, it will keep you warm without feeling too bulky or heavy. Originally created for fishermen going out in wet, windy conditions at sea, a true fisherman’s rib jumper needs almost double the yarn of a plain knit jumper of the same size, making it extra warm when the weather closes in. Made from Donegal Merino yarn, a distinctive, flecked, multi-hued yarn that makes each jumper unique. It has a base blend of up to seven colours, featuring additional coloured solid flecks visible on the yarn’s surface. Donegal yarn is spun from a soft, sleeker Merino wool with a naturally low lanolin content, making it soft on the skin, resistant to pilling, and durable.  This jumper is a rich moss green with flecks of white, cream and dark green. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and everyday wear. Our knitwear is made with care, to be worn and loved for years to come. Midweight knit, 100% pure Donegal Merino wool from Ireland. Care: As this item is made from 100% wool, we recommend hand-washing it in cold water. Repair and wear: Designed to be loved and worn for many years, we have included a small envelope with a skein of matching yarn, just in case your BIBICO knitwear ever requires some extra care.
