Westlake - House Plan

This stunning but simple farmhouse build is a timeless and functional home design with great flow and tons of amenities.  Stepping off the wrap around porch into the foyer, you have convenient access to the mud room, pantry, kitchen and an extra wide staircase up to the second floor. On the right is the kitchen, situated under the loft above and opening up to the lofted great room with exposed timber framing. A back to back indoor/outdoor fireplace is centered between French doors out to the front porch. Along the far side of the great room is an (optionally) screened porch which is perfect for enjoying meals, reading or maybe even enjoying a movie on a projection screen! Back inside, a dedicated washroom is a great place to do dishes away from the great room and conveniently ties the pantry to the kitchen. Lastly, a dedicated grilling porch is located off of the pantry and away from the main porch to reduce smoke. Back in the foyer, the mud room connects the garage and the primary bed suite. The oversized garage has a built-in workbench nook and a dedicated storage space which could make a great workshop, studio or fitness room.  The primary bed suite maximizes privacy at the back of the house and features a sitting room, huge walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom with freestanding tub, toilet room and direct access to the laundry room. Upstairs a loft overlooking the great room is perfect for enjoying media or relaxing. Towards the back of the house, two additional bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, large walk-in closets and integrated study spaces. Finally, a bonus room over the garage completes the space with a flex room and additional guest bed suite.
