The royal standard for Wales, the red dragon has been associated with Wales for centuries. The flag is sometimes claimed to be the oldest national flag still in use. The Welsh flag incorporates the Red Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch) of Cadwaladr with the Tudor colors of green and white. This flag was used by Henry VII at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485 and was officially recognized as the flag of Wales in 1959. Flag is double sided and made of indoor/outdoor polyester with metal grommets, measuring 3' x 5'. It is double-stitched around all edges with 4 rows of stitching on the "fly" edge.
