Wein and Venedig 39mm

For Pilot watch enthusiasts, Laco watches really needs no introduction. Founded in 1925, they were one of the original manufacturers of German Flieger watches. Still based in Pforzheim, Germany, Laco is known for their exacting quality, exceptional finishing, and attention to design detail. Flieger watches are renowned for their stark legibility. With the Wein and Venedig, Laco has cranked the legibility to eleven by eschewing the traditional black dial for one in bright C3 SuperLumi-Nova capable of lighting up a cockpit at any hour. The lume-dialed Type A and B Fliegers feature the same 39mm sandblasted stainless steel case with a welcome 100m of water resistance and are paired with an aviation-inspired black calf leather strap. Underneath the Wien and Venedig’s cowl is the Laco 200, a Sellita SW-200-derived automatic caliber. A Swiss-made movement, it features 26 jewels, hacking, hand winding, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 38 hours.
