Weimaraner Nose Butter

Does Your Weimaraner Have a Dry or Even Crusty Nose? The Weimaraner is often called the Grey Ghost, for obvious reasons. The short, smooth coat is found in 50 shades of grey (I couldn't help myself) from a pale mouse to dark silver gray. Not only are they lovely dogs esthetically, but they are also one of the best-hunting dogs. Did you know Weimaraners were used by royalty for hunting large game such as; boar, bear, and deer? In addition to their unique coloration that allows them to move virtually unseen through the morning mists, Weimaraners have a sharp sense of smell. All those centuries of breeding for sniffing out the game (from birds to bears) has given them a powerful legacy of sniffing mojo.
