Weekender Football Jig

Built for anglers who want dependable performance without the premium price tag, the Weekender Series Football Jig delivers everything you need for a productive day on the water. Designed around a proven football-head profile, this jig excels in rock, gravel, and hard-bottom structure—keeping its balance as it crawls, hops, and deflects along the bottom. Whether you’re learning how to fish a jig or simply stocking up for the weekend, this model offers the right mix of quality and value. Available in 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz, each jig is outfitted with a tournament-trusted VMC hook—a 4/0 in the 3/8 oz and a beefier 5/0 in the 1/2 oz—to ensure solid penetration and holding power when it matters most. The durable powder-painted finish stands up to repeated contact with rocks and cover, giving you longer-lasting color and confidence in tough fishing environments. The Weekender Series was created to give anglers a reliable option at an unbeatable value, and this football jig fits that mission perfectly. At just $4.29, you get the same thoughtful design, consistency, and fish-catching performance you expect from Nichols, packaged into a price point that lets you fill the box without draining the budget. It’s proof that a great jig doesn’t have to be expensive—it just has to work. Whether you're dragging it deep, hopping it through transitions, or pairing it with your favorite creature or craw trailer, the Weekender Series Football Jig is built to help you get more bites, catch more fish, and maximize every weekend on the water.
