Web Fire Fans

Bold, full-size fire fans with five large wicks for long-burning flames. Durable steel construction with balanced handling. Sold as a pair. Fire Fan Care Wick Care and Inspection Always inspect the Kevlar wicks before each use, keeping an eye out for loose materials and frayed edges. All wicking material burns a little with each use. You can add a bit more life expectancy to your wicks by extinguishing the flames rather than letting them burn out by burning off all the fuel. If you discover frayed edges they can be sewn down using Kevlar thread. Or you can use PVA glue (aka Elmer’s glue or wood glue) to fix them. Apply the glue to the edges to prevent fraying. This also keep them that part from soaking up the fuel. #gap-804455634 { padding-top: 30px; } Fan Frames and Impacts Your fans were designed to be both lightweight and durable, BUT they are not indestructible. Our fans come with a warranty NOT a warning against technical spinning and repair charges, like other brands on the market. Reasonable care should be taken to prevent damage, such as keeping them out of areas where people might walk or drive over them. While these are designed to take impacts with the ground, it does wear on the steel and the wick, so try to avoid it as much as you can. They are made of steel, and one of the beauties of this material is that it bends rather than breaking (but repeated bending will eventually cause failure). If they do bend out of shape, you can bend them back into shape by hand. Fire Fan Warranty Moodhoops warrants, to its purchasers, that all performance tools furnished by it will be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship. All defective tools shall be replaced or repaired after inspection by our company, showing the tool had failed under warranty and providing a written claim is presented to us within that warranty period. Under this warranty we agree to either: replace the defective tool; or repair the defective tool at no charge, excluding shipping costs. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and is the sole warranty extended by us. Our liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of tools and does not cover any responsibility for consequential or other damages and injuries of any nature. Fire Safety Guidelines Fire Safety Guidelines Safety First Fire performance is inherently dangerous. Using any fire prop can result in fire, burns, serious injury, death, or property damage, even when appropriate precautions are followed. These general guidelines are provided as a starting point only. They are not a complete fire performance or fuel safety education and do not replace hands-on professional instruction, training specific to the prop and discipline, local fire codes, permits, venue requirements, or sound judgment. Do not handle fuel or use a fire prop unless you: Have received appropriate hands-on training in fire performance and fuel safety. Are fully competent using the exact prop while it is unlit. Have an experienced fire performer and a trained, attentive safety person or spotter present. Have appropriate protective clothing and fire safety equipment available. Have inspected the complete prop before use and confirmed that its wicks, attachments, handles, frames, connectors, tethers, and other components are secure and undamaged. Are using the prop in a suitable, controlled location where fire performance is permitted. Are sober, alert, and unimpaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, illness, exhaustion, or any other condition that could affect judgment or coordination. #gap-2000403188 { padding-top: 30px; } Never use automotive gasoline, petrol, diesel, unidentified fuel, or any fuel that you have not been specifically trained to identify, handle, and use for the intended fire discipline. Keep fuel containers securely closed and well separated from flames, ignition sources, hot or smoldering props, and the lighting and performance areas. Never refuel a lit, hot, or freshly extinguished prop or bring a hot or smoldering wick near fuel. Use each fire prop only for its intended purpose and within the limits of your training. #gap-1541120831 { padding-top: 30px; } Product-Specific Information Before purchasing, assembling, fueling, or using any fire prop, read and follow all safety warnings, compatibility requirements, assembly or attachment instructions, inspection guidance, care information, and other instructions provided on the specific product page and with the product. Product-specific information supplements these general guidelines. Users are responsible for reviewing and understanding all information provided for their particular product before use. The absence of a warning about a particular activity, fuel, condition, or hazard does not mean that it is safe. #gap-710715496 { padding-top: 30px; } Standards, Codes, and Training Users are responsible for determining and complying with all applicable laws, fire codes, permits, fire restrictions, venue requirements, insurance requirements, and instructions from the local authority having jurisdiction. For fire performances before an audience, review the current edition of NFPA 160, Standard for the Use of Flame Effects Before an Audience, including its provisions concerning fire performers. NFPA provides free online access to its codes and standards after creating or signing into an NFPA account. The archived NAFAA Performer Safety Guidelines, Revision 3.0 may also be reviewed as a supplementary performer-oriented resource. Because this document is archived, it should not be treated as a replacement for current NFPA standards, local requirements, professional instruction, or product-specific training. No document, product description, or online resource should be considered a substitute for direct instruction from a qualified and experienced fire performance professional. By choosing to use a fire prop, the user accepts the inherent risks and assumes responsibility for determining whether they have the training, equipment, conditions, permissions, and judgment necessary to proceed. #gap-1493159314 { padding-top: 30px; } #gap-654849868 { padding-top: 30px; } #gap-1937044057 { padding-top: 30px; }
