GE Dryer Heater Assembly (WE11X21156)

The GE Dryer Heater Assembly is a vital component in your dryer, responsible for generating the heat necessary to dry clothes. It works by converting electrical energy into heat, which is then circulated throughout the drum. This process ensures that your laundry is dried efficiently and effectively. Common causes of failure for the heater assembly include wear and tear over time, electrical issues, or blockages that cause overheating. Regular maintenance and proper usage can help prolong its lifespan, but eventual replacement may be necessary. If you are experiencing issues with your dryer, consider the following symptoms to determine if the heater assembly may be the cause: Clothes take longer than usual to dry. The dryer does not produce any heat. The dryer shuts off mid-cycle due to overheating. Unusual noises during operation.
