We Are the Planets

In We Are the Planets - Andrius Miezis captures intimacy through cosmic simplicity. Two spherical heads, suspended in space, lean toward one another, their gentle smiles suggesting both gravity and orbit. Their shadows anchor them softly to an undefined surface, while the background’s muted stars evoke the quiet infinity surrounding human connection. The composition transforms a meeting of gazes into a celestial event - a love story without words, where emotion replaces motion. Miezis fuses surrealism with tenderness, portraying human closeness as both absurd and sacred. We Are the Planets becomes a quiet reflection on connection and orbit. Through gentle surrealism, the work turns affection into a cosmic phenomenon - where closeness feels both vast and weightless. It speaks to the silent gravity that binds souls together, endlessly circling within their own shared universe.
