GE Haliant Triple Element (WB30T10126)

The GE Haliant Triple Element is a surface heating element used in GE electric ranges to provide three zones of heat in one unit, allowing you to use a small, medium, or large burner area depending on the size of your cookware. It works by passing electrical current through a resistive coil beneath a smooth glass-ceramic cooktop surface, converting electricity into radiant heat that transfers directly to the pot or pan above. The GE Haliant Triple Element can fail over time due to repeated heating and cooling cycles that stress the coil, physical damage from heavy cookware, spills that seep under the glass, or simple wear on the internal connections. A failed element may stop heating entirely, heat only one zone, or heat unevenly across the surface. Watch for these symptoms to determine if the element needs to be replaced: - One or more heat zones on the element no longer heat up - Burner takes much longer than usual to reach cooking temperature - Element glows unevenly or only partially lights up - Visible cracks, burn marks, or dark spots on the element area - Cooktop surface shows scorch marks or signs of internal arcing - Error code or indicator light related to a surface element appears on the range
