GE Electric Range Oven Control Overlay (WB27X32140)

The GE Electric Range Oven Control Overlay is the decorative and functional panel that sits over the control board interface on your range, displaying labels, settings, and function icons for the oven's cooking modes and temperature controls. It works alongside the touchpad or membrane switch to register your inputs and relay commands to the oven's control system, making it essential for day-to-day operation of your range. The GE Electric Range Oven Control Overlay can deteriorate from repeated use, heat exposure, moisture, and cleaning products that wear down the printed graphics or damage the surface material. Over time, the overlay may crack, peel, or bubble, and if it is bonded to the touchpad, unresponsive buttons or missed inputs can follow, making it difficult to set temperatures or select cooking functions reliably. Look for these symptoms to help determine if the control overlay on your electric range needs to be replaced: - Labels or printed text on the control panel are faded, peeling, or no longer readable - Overlay surface is cracked, bubbling, or lifting away from the panel - One or more oven function buttons are unresponsive or require extra pressure to register - Discoloration or staining on the overlay that cannot be cleaned off - Oven does not respond consistently when selecting temperature or cooking mode - Physical damage to the panel surface from heat, impact, or harsh cleaners
