Elektrika · Large Wayuu Mochila

100% Handcrafted | One-of-a-Kind | Fair Trade | Indigenous-Made Handwoven by the Wayuu Indigenous women of La Guajira, Colombia, who proudly preserve their cultural traditions through weaving.    Every piece is a window into the hands and heart of its maker. Woven by hand, the patterns and colors shift from artisan to artisan, each one a living thread of their culture, land, memory, and daily life. We collectively work with independent artisans and their families to bring you joyful, story-filled mochilas and accessories.    Chila Info This large bag took approximately 15 days of weaving to complete.  Community: Wayuu Region: La Guajira Weaving technique: 2-thread Material: 100% Acrylic thread Size: Large Height: 11 in. But you can: Machine wash, turn the bag inside out, place tassels and strap inside, and wash on a quick, delicate cycle with cold water. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Do not tumble dry as it might ruin the tassels. Air dry, hang to dry. Please note: Due to the handmade nature of these mochilas, measurements may vary slightly.
