About our waterproof dog collars These waterproof collars are great for active dogs that tend to get wet and muddy. Unlike most dog collars that will absorb water and odors, these durable polyurethane coated collars are made for the wettest and stinkiest of situations. They are also extremely strong and come in a variety of high visibility colors. My dog Parker went through numerous dog collars before we found these. I couldn't stand the smell of his other collars when they got wet and would end up having to toss them out. These waterproof dog collars will never smell because water and dirt cannot possibly absorb into them. I also like them because the price is right and they will last forever. Once you try one of these waterproof dog collars you will wonder why you didn't find them sooner. When it comes to keeping your dog comfortable, stylish, and easy to spot, a durable waterproof dog collar is essential. Whether your dog loves to splash in puddles, swim in the lake, or run through the rain, our waterproof dog collars are designed to handle the elements. 1. Durability That Lasts Our Sunglo collars are crafted from high-quality, durable materials that resist water damage, fraying, and wear over time. Unlike traditional fabric collars, these waterproof collars won’t absorb water, which means they won't become heavy, soggy, or uncomfortable for your pet. Whether you're out on a rainy walk or your dog enjoys frequent swims, these dog collars stand up to the test. The rugged construction ensures that they can handle harsh conditions, making them an ideal choice for active dogs - trust us when we say we have put them to the ultimate test with our own dogs. 2. Odor Resistance One of the biggest drawbacks of non-waterproof dog collars is their tendency to absorb moisture, leading to stinky odors and hotspots on your dog's neck line. The Sunglo waterproof dog collars are designed to repel water, preventing the buildup of bacteria, mold, and mildew that can cause stinky collars. Your dog’s collar will remain fresh and odor-free, from a dip in the pool to a day at the beach. This makes Sunglo waterproof dog collars not only practical but also hygienic, promoting cleanliness and comfort. 3. Improved Visibility and Safety Many of our waterproof dog collars come in bright, high-visibility colors, which make it easier for you to spot your dog, especially during early morning walks or evening adventures. High-visibility collars can help keep your dog safe by ensuring that they are easily seen by drivers, and easily found by you in thick brush or low light.  4. Low Maintenance and Easy to Clean Traditional fabric collars often require regular washing, and even then, they can still retain smells and stains. Waterproof collars, on the other hand, are incredibly low-maintenance. They dry quickly and can easily be wiped down or hosed off after a messy adventure.  5. Stylish and Functional Who says you can't have both style and function? Our waterproof dog collars come in a variety of colors to suit your dog's personality and are extremely strong.
