Waterfall Panel Mover – 3,200 Lb Capacity – Cross-Braced Uprights – Model 5000 Series

Overview The standard waterfall panel mover (Model 5050) handles most mixed-size sheet transport with its three-upright staggered design. But when loads are heavier, denser, or more demanding — stacked glass sheets, bundled plywood, industrial-grade building materials — the cross-braced construction of this heavy duty waterfall panel mover provides the additional structural rigidity needed to keep four uprights locked in position under maximum stress. Rated at 3,200 lbs, this cross brace panel mover shares the same proven 14-gauge robotically welded steel platform reinforced with 12-gauge steel ribs as the 5050 Series. The key upgrade is the fourth upright and cross-brace framework that ties the uprights together into a rigid structure. This prevents upright flex under heavy side pressure — a critical advantage when transporting dense, top-heavy, or off-center loads. A removable vinyl-coated lip attachment protects material surfaces and prevents shifting. Every unit is manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a lifetime warranty. Features and Benefits The four-upright cross-braced design is what separates this heavy duty waterfall panel mover from the standard 5050 Series. Where the 5050 uses three independent uprights, the 5000 Series adds a fourth upright and connects them with cross-brace reinforcement. This framework prevents the uprights from flexing outward when heavy panels lean against them — a problem that becomes more pronounced with dense materials like tempered glass, stacked plywood bundles, and heavy building materials that concentrate side pressure on the upright posts. The waterfall staggered-height design remains fully intact. Uprights at different heights keep panels of varying sizes separated and individually accessible, so workers can load and unload specific sheets without restacking the entire load. The uprights are adjustable and removable, adapting the cart to different load widths and configurations. The 30″ x 54″ platform is built from 14-gauge robotically welded steel reinforced with 12-gauge steel ribs. The powder-coated finish resists chips and corrosion. The removable vinyl-coated lip provides a non-marring, skid-resistant edge that holds sheet materials in place and cushions the bottom edge against damage during transport. Available Caster Configurations Model 5005 — 5″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel (169 lbs) Model 5009 — 5″ Phenolic, all swivel (168 lbs) Model 5006 — 6″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel (171 lbs) Model 5008 — 8″ Quiet Poly, 2 fixed / 2 swivel (176 lbs) All configurations share the same 3,200 lb capacity, 30″ x 54″ rib-reinforced steel platform, four cross-braced waterfall uprights, and removable vinyl-coated lip. Phenolic casters are best for hard, smooth floors. Quiet poly casters reduce noise and are gentler on polished surfaces. Optional brake kits are available. Ships via truck freight in two cartons. Some assembly required. Applications Glass fabrication shops and glass distributors handling heavy tempered glass, laminated glass, and insulated glass units are the primary users of this heavy duty waterfall panel mover. The cross-braced uprights prevent flex under the concentrated side pressure that dense glass panels create — a failure point for lighter panel movers that leads to tipping, breakage, and costly material loss. Construction material suppliers and lumber yards use this cross brace panel mover to transport bundled plywood, OSB, heavy MDF sheets, and stacked building panels between storage racks, cutting stations, and shipping areas. Millwork operations handling dense hardwood veneers, solid-core doors, and heavy architectural panels rely on the fourth upright and cross-brace structure for loads that exceed the comfort zone of three-upright designs. Institutional facilities with heavy room dividers, acoustic panels, and oversized partitions use it for the combination of waterfall accessibility and cross-braced stability. Selection Assistance Choose this heavy duty waterfall panel mover (Model 5000) when your loads are consistently heavy, dense, and place significant side pressure on the uprights — tempered glass, bundled plywood, heavy hardwood panels, and industrial building materials. If your loads are lighter mixed-size sheets that need individual access but do not stress the uprights, the standard Waterfall Panel Mover (Model 5050, three uprights) provides the same waterfall functionality at a lower weight and price. For uniform-size loads that do not need individual sheet access, the standard Heavy Duty Panel and Sheet Mover (Model 3900 series) provides 3,200 lb capacity without the waterfall upright system. For lighter facility loads, the standard Panel Mover (2,400 lb) and Narrow Panel Mover (1,500 lb) cover general-purpose transport. Need help choosing?
