Waterfall Panel Mover – 3,200 Lb Capacity – Adjustable Uprights – Model 5050 Series

Overview Standard panel movers hold sheet materials upright — but when you need to pull one sheet from the middle of a mixed-size stack, the entire load has to be unloaded and restacked. This waterfall panel mover eliminates that problem with a staggered upright design that keeps panels at different heights, making each sheet individually accessible without disturbing the rest of the load. For glass shops, millwork operations, construction staging areas, and any facility that handles mixed-size sheet goods, this design turns a multi-step restacking job into a single pull. Rated at 3,200 lbs, this sheet material cart is built on the proven HD 3900 series platform — 14-gauge robotically welded steel reinforced with 12-gauge steel ribs. The adjustable waterfall-style uprights accommodate varying load widths, and a removable vinyl-coated lip attachment holds materials in place and prevents surface damage during transport. Six caster configurations let you match the cart to your flooring and route. Every unit is manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a lifetime warranty. Features and Benefits The staggered waterfall upright design is what separates this panel sheet mover from every other drywall cart and standard panel mover on the market. Three uprights at different heights — extra tall, standard, and short — create a cascading support structure that keeps panels of different sizes separated and individually accessible. Workers can slide a single sheet on or off the cart without lifting, shifting, or restacking adjacent panels. In glass shops, millwork facilities, and construction staging areas where mixed-size inventory is the norm, this feature eliminates hours of wasted labor per week. The removable vinyl-coated lip attachment provides a non-marring, skid-resistant edge along the base of the load area. This lip holds sheet materials in position during rolling and cushions the bottom edge against scratches and chipping — critical when handling glass, acrylic, finished plywood, or painted panels that cannot tolerate surface damage. The 14-gauge robotically welded steel platform is reinforced with 12-gauge steel ribs, delivering the same rib-reinforced structural rigidity found in the HD panel movers. The 30″ x 54″ platform provides a full-size carrying surface for standard sheet goods. The powder-coated finish resists chips and corrosion. Three caster sizes — 5″ phenolic, 6″ phenolic, and 8″ quiet poly — are available in fixed/swivel or all-swivel configurations, giving you six total options to match your flooring and transport environment. Available Caster Configurations Model 5050 — 5″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 5051 — 5″ Phenolic, all swivel Model 5056 — 6″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 5057 — 6″ Phenolic, all swivel Model 5058 — 8″ Quiet Poly, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 5059 — 8″ Quiet Poly, all swivel All configurations share the same 3,200 lb capacity, 30″ x 54″ rib-reinforced steel platform, adjustable waterfall uprights, and removable vinyl-coated lip. Phenolic casters are best for hard, smooth floors. Quiet poly casters reduce noise and are gentler on polished surfaces. Optional brake kits are available. Ships via truck freight in two cartons. Some assembly required. Applications Glass shops and glass suppliers are the primary users of this waterfall panel mover. Mixed inventories of glass sheets in different sizes need to be stored upright, transported to cutting stations, and pulled individually for each order without handling every sheet in the stack. The staggered upright design makes single-sheet retrieval fast and safe, reducing breakage and handling time. Millwork and woodworking shops use this sheet material cart to transport finished plywood, MDF, veneered panels, and door blanks between storage racks, CNC stations, and finishing areas. The vinyl-coated lip protects finished surfaces that cannot tolerate scratches or chipping. Construction staging crews use it for mixed-size drywall, sheathing, and building material loads that need to come on and off quickly at the job site. Institutional facilities — schools, hospitals, and government buildings — use it for storing and transporting mixed-size room dividers, acoustic panels, and maintenance materials. Selection Assistance Choose this waterfall panel mover when your primary challenge is accessing individual sheets from a mixed-size load without restacking. If your loads are uniform-size panels that do not need individual access — such as stacked drywall sheets of the same dimension — the standard Heavy Duty Panel and Sheet Mover (3,200 lb, Model 3900 series) provides the same capacity and platform at a lower price without the waterfall upright system. For lighter facility loads under 2,400 lbs, the standard Panel Mover (3800 series) or the Panel Dolly with Extra Tall Uprights offers a smaller, lighter option. For narrow aisles and tight storage areas, the Narrow Panel Mover provides a 16¼” wide profile that fits where wider sheet material carts cannot. Need help choosing?
