L+L Golf Art League: Watercolor Landscape Stroke Play

Thursday, April 20th // 7-9 pm EST Join us for art league and learn to watercolor a golf landscape!  This 2-hour live workshop will take place online and taught by our homie, Josh Davis.  You'll walk away with your own landscape painting of your favorite hole or golf course and gain the skills to explore watercoloring further.  It will be a laid back environment where hopefully we all meet a few new golf homies too! What you'll learn: Basic compositional strategies Drawing instruction using reference images How to use each tool in the watercolor process An understanding of the physical properties of the watercolor medium Various techniques to achieve a variety of effects  Lessons on color theory Josh is an incredible teacher and we're stoked to have him share his wisdom on watercolor.  After securing your spot, we'll be in touch with some quick homework before class.   You will need paper, brushes and a watercolor paint kit.  Here is a quick shopping list of our favorites, or any art/crafts store will have the basics.  These supplies will last you for loads of watercolor paintings beyond this workshop (and we will plan to keep hosting Art League nights!).  Look forward to practicing watercolor and hearing some of your recent golf adventures with you!
