Automatic GMT SBGM257

Inspired by the quiet beauty of autumn nights in northern Japan, SBGM257 “Moondrop” reflects the serene glow of moonlight and the dewdrops that glisten beneath it. The deep blue dial, textured to capture the essence of this tranquil moment, expresses the atmosphere of fall surrounding the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. The stainless steel case measures 39.5mm in diameter and is complemented by a box-shaped sapphire crystal, maintaining the classic proportions and refined form of Grand Seiko’s traditional mechanical GMT. Powered by the Caliber 9S66, the watch delivers both performance and versatility, allowing the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously. The gold-toned 24-hour hand lends warmth to the cool tones of the dial, while the movement’s 72-hour power reserve and +5 to -3 seconds per day accuracy stand as hallmarks of Grand Seiko’s engineering excellence. The decorated movement can be admired through the exhibition case back, completing this graceful expression of mechanical precision.
