A vintage steel and glass coffee table designed by American architect and designer Warren Platner (1919-2006). Warren Platner was active as an architect and designer at Warren Platner Associates in Connecticut from 1965 until his death in 2006. His quintessentially Modernist designs, of which this coffee table is an example, were created when Platner worked alongside Eero Saarinen and Kevin Roche in the mid-1960s. Measurements: 36" x 15" x 36" (overall); 30” x 14.75” x 30” (base); 36” x 36” x .25” (glass). Condition notes: Some scuffs and scratches present. Some discoloration to the base.
