I had an awe-inspiring experience after viewing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, which motivated me to create art. This was the impetus for Wanda. Measuring 6”x8” and weighing 4.6 ozs, she features a two-tone copper-green and brown complexion, long, voluminous hair with several handmade Raku bead spiral coils, and over 30 ft of hand-twisted 16 and 24-gauge wire.
