WalthersMainline 910-6076 | 53' Corrugated-Side Gondola - Ready to Run - Burlington Northern #565504 | HO Scale

Gondolas do the unglamorous work: scrap, steel, pipe, anything that can be dropped in from above and does not mind the weather. The 53' corrugated-side car has been doing it since the late 1960s, and the ribbed side panels are the whole point. They resist the dents and buckling that come with a grapple bucket and a careless operator. This one wears Burlington Northern as #565504. It comes fully assembled with metal wheels and knuckle couplers, so it is ready to work the moment it comes out of the box.
