Walrus Audio Highpoint Optical Compressor

The Walrus Audio Highpoint Optical Compressor is a studio-grade analog compressor designed to bring precision dynamic control and musical responsiveness to your pedalboard. Built around an optical compression circuit, it delivers smooth, natural compression with rich sustain and articulate transient response—making it ideal as an always-on tone foundation or a powerful shaping tool. The Highpoint combines high-end studio functionality with intuitive control, allowing players to dial in everything from subtle leveling to expressive, blooming sustain. Its analog signal path and elevated internal voltage provide exceptional headroom and clarity, ensuring your tone remains full, detailed, and dynamic even under heavier compression. A standout feature is the integrated LED metering system, offering real-time visual feedback for input, output, or gain reduction—bringing a console-style experience to your feet.
