Walnut Cutting Board, Medium

Our double-sided Walnut Cutting Boards, featuring stunning contrasting grains, have exactly what you want in a wooden cutting board. Known for its exceptional density and durability, walnut can withstand the impact of cutting tools–and resist deep knife scratches–better than softer woods. Walnut’s natural antimicrobial properties can help inhibit the growth of bacteria, too, which is crucial for cutting boards that come into contact with raw meat and produce. Plus, our Walnut Cutting Boards will (when properly cared for) outlast their plastic counterparts. And best of all, they’re now even more of a workhorse in your kitchen and on your table: One side features a juice groove to keep juice and jus from running all over your counter, while a flat side provides a broad chopping surface. Handles make lifting a cinch, so the board can also double as a sleek charcuterie serving piece.  Luxurious, high-end walnut boasts a rich, dark color, is extraordinarily durable, and has antimicrobial properties that help inhibit bacterial growth. One side of the board features a groove for collecting juices, while recessed “handles” make lifting and moving the board from counter to the table a breeze. Thanks to its density, walnut minimizes the visibility of scratches – thus reducing the chance of deep crevices that could harbor bacteria. Walnut can actually self-heal, closing its grain when exposed to oil, when cared for properly. Additionally, its dense structure helps repel stains over time. The wood has a mild, pleasant aroma and is naturally resistant to absorbing food odors. Size: 11.75-inch x 15.75-inch *Free shipping to contiguous US
