Black Walnut Book Matched Dining Table

Sculpted from Eastern Black Walnut, locally sourced by Woodrich in Pennsylvania, this beautiful table is made from our premiere wood. This dining table is made from book matched pieces of walnut, which means that it is crafted using consecutive slabs from the same tree, giving the table its unique mirrored look. This process allows for the grain patterns to match and remain symmetrical! If you would like any other base style or base color for this table, please send us a message or email. Our tables are fully customizable, so feel free to get creative and let us build your next piece. We would love to give you a virtual tour of our studio via Facetime, Google Meet or Zoom!  Product Details: Top Material: Solid Black Walnut Wood Base Material: Custom Welded American Steel Partial Assembly Required (Easy DIY) Please note that none of our tables are exactly the same. When working with real wood, each product will have some variation. Upon purchase, we will craft a similar table to your selected product if the one photographed is sold. Please contact us if you have any specific requests or questions. For example, if you are not a fan of the bowtie inlay on top of the table, we can utilize bowties underneath for them to not show!  Each piece of Woodrich live edge furniture is a unique piece of art expertly crafted to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood and provide its owner with a lifetime of value. We are the only live edge furniture company who uses the innovative technologies created by the founder for milling and kiln drying wood. Our business has provided tremendous care over this piece of wood to take it from tree to shelf. Our product is designed by Mother Nature. When nature’s impact on the finished product has such an intense tie to the product it is imperative to manage organic materials with the respect they deserve. Logs are not grown with the intent to sell, but instead we seek out urban logs that have become deceased or in declining health. The holistic approach to providing a second life to each tree. Nature’s beauty is differentiated with the uniqueness found in each tree used. Every tree history creates unique character, color, shape, and size to create a highly individualized personality. The individuality in each piece provides for significant product differentiation and the ability for each work to stand alone as a piece of art. In a world of automation, we believe in controlling the process through manual craftsmanship taking each tree to table. This allows for the honoring each tree’s individual inherent value. Craftsmanship allows for the honoring of each wood’s innate beauty, flaws and eccentricities, which capture the beauty in each piece.
