Calicot - Moss Slate

Calicot is a large-scale floral wallpaper rooted in the historic Indienne tradition, designs inspired by the hand-painted and embroidered cotton textiles brought to Europe from India in the 17th and 18th centuries. These richly patterned fabrics captivated French makers, who developed their own interpretations filled with movement, warmth, and ornamental rhythm. Flowering branches and curling leaves unfurl across the surface. The result is a pattern that feels historic and expressive, bold without being overpowering. Calicot is designed to make an impact, beautiful as a statement wall, a creative decorative moment, or even framed as handcrafted wall art.
