Poetry, chapbook, 40 pages, from Bottlecap Features. A collection of words that flowed from a traveling heart, sometimes soaring to places seen only in a postcard, others from memories, journal pages, and stark reality. The Great Wall of China is from a series of six postcards that were sent during the Cascadia Poetry Postcard Festival 2021, which I’ve participated in for several years. Photos of the postcards of which some poems are based on can be seen on my blog, mjdills.blogspot.com, which I invite my readers to explore. Genuine sturm and drang of living inspired many of these pieces that I hope will also find a way into your heart.
