Walker Way House Plan

The Walker Way cottage home plan has a contemporary look that blends many details seen in the grand homes along the Gulf coast and in the Caribbean. Stucco, vinyl siding and a metal roof give the home a clean, updated look. Connections to the outdoors are valued in the Walker Way plan, with wide covered porches and open sundecks accessible via French doors or retreating walls of glass. Lovely balconies and a magnificent circle-head window set off a three-story turret on the Walker Way, a Gulf Coast design, perfect for a waterfront property. The entry of the Walker Way plan is located on the ground floor. The foyer leads to the stairs and up to the main level. A columned archway announces the elegant formal dining room, well lit by the bay windows. Nearby, French doors open to a front balcony where gentle breezes can mingle with the glow and warmth of the interior. Straight ahead is the great room with the open concept feel that leads to the kitchen and breakfast nook. The fireplace is situated in the center of the right wall between built ins on either side. Retreating glass walls open up to the covered deck in the rear. The gourmet kitchen is open to the morning nook, which boasts its own bay windows and seaside views. A single French door leads out to the verandah. The two secondary bedrooms share a hall bath on this floor. The upper level of the Walker Way is dedicated to a spacious master suite and a private bayed study. A corner fireplace warms both bedroom and bath in the homeowners' retreat. The soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower have views of the rear property. With 2865 sq. ft. of living area, three bedrooms and two and 1/2 bathrooms, the Walker Way cottage floor plan has plenty of room for family and guests. The island basement offers extra space for recreation and garages. Are you interested in having a custom home plan designed just for you?
