Wahl-Eversharp Skyline Blue Presentation Gold Cap - Ballpoint Pen

The Eversharp Skyline, introduced in 1941, stands as a testament to American industrial design and innovation. Crafted by renowned designer Henry Dreyfuss, the Skyline's streamlined form drew inspiration from the sleek contours of the New York Central Railroad's 20th Century Limited locomotive. This pen not only captured the essence of the Art Deco movement, but also offered a reliable writing instrument during an era when Americans sought quality and functionality. By 1945, the Skyline had become the best-selling pen in the United States, a reflection of its widespread appeal and the nation's demand for dependable tools during and after World War II. Today, the Skyline has been thoughtfully reimagined, preserving its iconic design while incorporating modern materials and manufacturing techniques. Available in both fountain pen (with a converter filling system) and ballpoint pen models, the new collection offers a variety of vibrant colors and finishes, catering to contemporary tastes without compromising on the pen's classic aesthetic. Whether you're a seasoned collector or new to fine writing instruments, the Skyline provides an opportunity to own a piece of design history that continues to inspire. Experience the fusion of heritage and modernity with the Eversharp Skyline—a pen that transcends time at an affordable price!
